Once a quiet traditional Turkish village in the mountains, Hisarönü has grown into a buzzing holiday resort. The village has retained some of it’s original Turkish charm and certainly the welcoming atmosphere and hospitality remains as it always was. Just a short taxi or Dolmus ride away from the famous Blue Lagoon and the ghost village of Kayakoy, makes Hisarönü a perfect base for holiday makers wanting a mix of beautiful beaches, a wide variety of restaurants, plenty of history and great nightlife.

Still referred to as ‘The Village’ by locals, Hisarönü has plenty t offer. In terms of restaurants, there’s nothing you won’t find in Hisarönü. Servicing anything from king size English breakfasts, T-bone steaks and homemade pies through to traditional Turkish cuisine. Theres pizza places and burger places, Italians, Tapas bars, Indian restaurants, Chinese restaurants, All-you-can-eats and elegant fine dining. There’s restaurants that cater for a range of dietary requirements too. Whatever your preference in taste, atmosphere or budget Hisarönü will not let you down when it comes to dining.

When the sunlight starts to fade, the neon light start to shine. Hisarönü comes alive after sunset offering a choice of family bars, cocktail bars, live music venues, comedy shows, fun pubs and karaoke bars and night clubs. There is something for everyone no matter how you like to spend your nights whilst on holiday.

Hisarönü is a great central location and although it’s not on the coast, you certainly won’t miss the beach with everything Hisarönü has on offer. And for those wanting a beach day, hop on the bus for 5 minutes and step off onto the famous Ölüdeniz Beach.
